Before the Dawn started as and currently is Tuomas Saukkonen's solo project, though there were also other official members during the first 2 albums. Current line-up is more or less session based.

The band recorded a (previously unreleased) song for the 2008 compilation (by Capitol / EMI) "Finnish Metal Mania", which is titled "Hide Me" (03:47).
